Kim gained her degree in Fine Arts at Chelsea School of Art. She then trained at the BBC  in make-up and prosthetics; skills which took her around the world working in the film industry.

Returning to the UK, Kim developed a successful interiors business alongside her art. Based near the lovely market town of Marlborough in Wiltshire, Kim now focuses all her time on portraiture, taking regular commissions, working on her own pieces, teaching at schools and conducting private workshops on a range of disciplines, for beginners, intermediates and the more advanced.
